"Allergic my ass."
No, Yubin, that wasn't going to work. Nice try though, A for effort. Seyoon would have attempted to believe you if you weren't the one to propose this outing in the first place to confront your fear of dogs. If you were actually allergic, the request would have been hey, want to come and witness my death? It could be fun!
To be fair, Seyoon would have still agreed because he has a lot of inner chaos.
"Right, he's in the hwarang, you are a lowly scribe and I am the fricking king." Seyoon decided to forcibly insert himself into this fanfiction Yubin was writing between himself and the dog. "Now, do as you are told, peasant." He touched one of Marshmallow's softly padded paws to Yubin's knee. "Your Majesty orders you to obey!" Seyoon was having way too much fun with this scenario.
A cafe staff approached, looking slightly hesitant to interrupt what was happening here, but also had a job to do. She offered them a container of treats, which Marshmallow barked excitedly at. "What a good boy," Seyoon cooed, accepting the treats from the staff after thanking her. Taking the container meant he had to let go of Yubin's shoulder, but not to worry, he wasn't going to give his buddy a chance to escape. Using both of his legs, Seyoon trapped one of Yubin's rather tightly to prove he'd been doing more than just arm days at the gym.
"Take a treat and feed Marshmallow," Seyoon demanded, giving the container a little shake to prompt Yubin. That might have been a bit of a mistake because the other doggos in the cafe heard the sound and started crowding over. They all wanted treats, they were all good boys, so why should Marshmallow be the only one to eat?
he's about to choke out a half-hearted remark on how seyoon must be diligent about arm day—because before yubin knows it, he's being physically dragged into the place where he will certainly breathe his last breath.
on any other day, he may have shown stronger signs of resistance, but it's almost as though the strength has left his body. like a limp doll, he allows himself to be dragged, the gears in his head turning and clinking and clanking so loudly that he can't even process the disappointed murmurs of the crowd of girls that'd been spectating them.
"seyoon," yubin manages to choke out, his heels finally beginning to dig into the ground as he comes to his senses (it's too late, it's always too late). "seyoon, hey, seyoon—"
if kim yubin has learned anything about his formative years, it's that no matter how hard he tries to romanticize the growing pains, they'll never be as poetic as he wants them to be. he's no timothee chalamet, for one—and no matter how desperately he pretends there's a say sue me track playing in the background as seyoon resolutely and determinedly drags him to meet his fate, the imaginary music in his head will never be loud enough to drown out the rapid THUMPTHUMP THUMP!!!! of his heart when he makes eye contact with a dog.
oh, wait. how absolutely rude of him.
with "marshmallow."
"do i want to pet him," yubin echoes, backing up as much as possible with each centimeter that seyoon (and marshmallow) draw nearer. "do i look like i want to pet him right now? you know! what! i don't think he even likes me. i literally think in a past life i might have betrayed him or something. i'm picturing joseon dynasty, he's in the hwarang and i'm like a lowly scribe who—"
why is he writing a fanfiction about himself? about a dog?
yubin clears his throat.
"i can't. i'll die. i'm allergic."

Lucky -- Hansung Ending
Tumblr media
Masterlist     Previous
Warnings: None
Word Count: 2591
It has been a while since Hansung stepped in front of the blade for Sunwoo, and he’s still unconscious from the drug that was meant to kill him. His chest slowly rises and falls assuring me that he is still among the living. He has bandages on both of his hands that he was lucky didn’t get cut too deep, but will take some time to heal even with the stitches. Each time I change the bandages my heart cracks.
“Please, wake up,” I bring my knees up to my chest, ignoring the pain in my back as I sit on the floor.
After Hansung was treated by the closest doctor, I made the decision to have him transferred to my home. That way I can watch over him all the time, no boys would be bugging us all the time, and I wanted to get out of Hwarang house to distance myself. At this moment I don’t care about Hwarang. I don’t care about the fight for King. I don’t care about Master Wihwa losing his job as the leader of Hwarang. All I care about is Hansung.
“Hansungie, if you can hear me, please, I need you,” I wipe my cheeks of tears I have shed over the days.
The empty bowl that once held soup catches my eye. It was my idea to see if he could sip liquids, and his body reacts when I hold a spoon up to his lips. I am no doctor, but I can only hope that the amounts of soup I give him is keeping his strength up. That it will help him wake up sooner.
“I should get some rest,” I reach out to run my fingers lightly over Hansung’s arm. “You’ll be fine without me watching over you every second, and I know it.” I stretch out my legs, getting ready to stand up and take a nap to refresh.
Hansung groans, causing me to stop any movement.
“Hansungie,” I choke out, looking at Hansung on the makeshift cot that is in my room.
         “Ara,” he mumbles.
I scramble into the nearby stool for a better look at Hansung.
His face is scrunched up from the pain he is now feeling, but it is a nice change from the no emotion that has been on his face. In a strange way, he looks more alive now. “Ara?”
“Yes, I’m here, Hansung,” I reach out, placing my hands on his forearm. “Are you in pain?”
“Tiny,” he takes a deep breath.
“Well, you did grab a sword,” I sadly chuckle. “The scars will be badass, though.”
“Good,” he coughs, forcing his eyes to blink open. “Danse? Sunwoo?”
“Both fine. Both happy the poison was off for some reason.”
“Are you my nurse?” He tilts his head to look at me.
“Yes,” I tenderly smiles. “I’m your nurse. I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long.”
“Do you have water?” He groans as he uses anything but his hands to sit up, leaning back against the wall.
“I do,” I pick up the cup of water. “Small sips, okay?” I bring the cup up to his lips, tilting if just enough for him to get some sips.
“Thank you, honey,” he lazily smiles as I place the cup down by my feet. “I love you, too.”
My cheeks burst with heat as I giggle. “You remember?”
“I do. It’s the last thing I hear before passing out. I don’t regret what I did,” he reaches out for me, stopping once he sees the bandage wrapped around his hand. “Are they okay?”
“Your hands? Yes, they will heal. You just have to be careful and keep changing the bandages.”
“Are you okay?” He looks up at me, concern washing over his face.
“Tried, but other than that, I am happy that you are awake and talking with me now. You’re my reason to live.” I hurriedly wipe the single tear that falls.
“I meant it all when I said it that one day. I am going to marry you and I don’t care what the bone rank system says. You are my honey, and I love you so much.”
“I love you, Hansungie,” I lean forward, cupping his face in my hands, and smashing our lips together.
I have waited so long to truly kiss Hansung, and my mind is spinning as our lips mold together. There are butterflies going crazy in my stomach.
Hansung is the one who pulls away first. “As much as I love kissing you, this is not comfortable for me.”
“I can fix that,” I smirk, standing up to climb onto the cot. I swing a leg over Hansung to straddle his lap. “This should be a lot better.”
“This is perfect,” he grins, placing his wrists on my shoulders so his hands hang off. “I wish we hadn’t of waited so long.”
“I was so scared of dragging you down that I couldn’t do anything about my feelings for you. Even though I knew you liked me too, and made that promise at the beginning of our Hwarang journey. Then how you exclaimed that the bone rank meant nothing to you, and that kiss we shared when you ran away from Danse. Gah, I love you so much,” I rest my forehead on his. “I have loved you for so long.”
“I love you too, Ara,” Hansung tugs me forward to connect our lips.
I place my hands on his chest to stable myself.
It feels so right to be kissing him like this. To have no care or fear in the world because we love each other so much. Even if someone walked in on us right now, it would not mean the end of the world like before. This is right where we are meant to be.
Hansung pushes me back; both of us panting with blushes on our cheeks form our actions.
“Is something wrong?” I brush hair out of his face.
“Ara, if we keep doing this,” he takes a deep breath. “Even in my weakened state, I am going to want to take it a step farther. I will take you right here, and I won’t have any regrets,” he playfully smirks.
“Hansungie,” I squeal, leaning away as an embarrassed smile forms on my face. “I can’t believe you just said that.”
“It got the reactions I was hoping for,” he chuckles.
“I should go tell someone that you have woken up,” I sigh, smoothing my hands over my hair. “As much as I want to keep kissing you and keeping you for myself, there are so many other people that will be happy to know you are okay.”
“That’s probably a good idea.” He pulls his arms away from me; his fingers lightly grazing my cheeks as he does so. “I need to ask you a question, though.”
“And what’s that?” I grin, carefully climbing off Hansung, smoothing out my clothes as I stand.
“Will you marry me?” Hansung has the biggest boxy smile on his face. “Don’t worry about anything. I’ll handle my grandfather, who I hope got my letter.”
I tenderly smile, “Of course I’ll marry you, Hansung. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else, but you need to get better before we can do that.”
“As soon as I am better then,” he nods. “That is a promise.”
“Of course,” I lean down to press on more lingering kiss to his lips. “I promise.” Then I turn and walk to my bedroom door.
         “Honey,” Hansung calls to me.
“Yes?” I pull my hand away from the door.
         “I love you,” he coos.
“I love you too,” I glance back at him with a smile as my heart flutters. “I will always love you.”
“Don’t be too long, okay? I’m not done giving you kisses.”
********
“I have a very good feeling that you are a girl,” I coo, rubbing my pregnant belly. “I’ll teach you how to go on adventures, and about my Hwarang times, and all your uncles will love and dote over you just like your brother. You will be such a blessing for this world, and I can’t wait to see your eyes.”
It’s been just over four years since Hansung save Sunwoo’s life and awoke from his poison sleep, and I take every day as a gift. He could have been taken from me that day, but my luck actually worked.
Anyways, once Hansung’s hands healed enough for him to do most things without my help, we were married. His grandfather only protested a little at the beginning, but only because he wanted to make sure Hansung was truly happy. Hansung then found us a decent sized house where he fulfilled another one of his promises with one room being turned into a library.
Then, not even a year into our marriage, I became pregnant with our first child, a boy, named Sunwoo in honor of the boy who Hansung was (and still is) a big part of Hansung’s life. All our Hwarang friends come over whenever they can to see our little family, even Jidwi who is now King. Baby Sunwoo loves the attention, and I love how alive our house becomes with all the people.
Now with little Sunwoo almost three, and our next one almost here, Hansung and I have a good rhythm. He’s now part of the new Royal Council that the King put in place once he settled into the throne, and I help Ahro with her doctor work. Though both of us have had trouble doing our jobs with babies on the way.
“I just want you to come into the world already,” I groan as I stand up out of the chair I have in my library. “I want to hold my baby girl.”
“Honey! Honey!” Hansung’s voice fills my ears.
I giggle as I wait for him to burst through the door. “He still has so much energy.”
In the next few moments, Hansung skips into the room with little Sunwoo on his back. The two have boxy smiles on their faces.
“How are my two favorite boys doing?” I giggle, waling over to press kisses to their cheeks.
“Mommy,” Sunwoo says in his cute soft voice. “Guess what daddy and I did.”
“Hm, I don’t know,” I tap my cheek as I look at Hansung. “You two get up to some crazy things.”
Hansung embarrassingly grins as a slight redness appears on his cheeks.
“We went to see Danse at the Hwarang house, and he showed me how to play with the wooden swords,” Sunwoo pats Hansung’s shoulders like drums. “But I just wanted to feed the horses.”
“I always loved the horses,” I ruffle Sunwoo’s hair. “Fighting wasn’t for you?”
“No,” he puffs out his cheeks, shaking his head. “It was hard, and not fun at all.”
“Your father felt the same way.”
“I never wanted to hurt others,” Hansung shrugs. “I was also not good at fighting, so I was bound to hate it.”
“You were good at it, right mommy?” Sunwoo reaches for me.
I grin, placing my hands on my hips. “I’m still good at it when I’m not carrying your little sister.”
“Oh, so you know it’s a girl,” Hansung smirks, rubbing a hand over my belly. “Ahro can test for that now?”
“I just have a really good feeling.” I step around Hansung to grab Sunwoo and place the small boy on my hip. “Do you want a little sister Sunwoo?”
“It doesn’t matter to me, I just want a sibling,” he giggles.
“That’s why you are the sweetest,” I press multiple kisses to his cheek.
“Mommy,” he giggles, wiggling in my hold. “You are so silly.”
“All because I love you,” I poke his stomach a few times.
“I love you too, mommy,” he presses a kiss to my nose. “You can set me down if it’s too much,” he rubs my belly with his little hand.
“You’re getting so big,” I lean down to place him on the ground.
“I’m gonna go play!” He rushes out of the room before Hansung or I can stop him.
I chuckle, “All the energy, just like his father.”
“And he knows when I want to be alone with you,” Hansung smirks, grabbing my hips to pull me close. “I love you too, honey.”
“Aw, felt left out, did you, Hansungie?” I giggle, bringing a hand up to cup one side of his face. “I love you, and that will never change.”
He presses a quick kiss to my lips. “I hope it’s a girl, and I hope she is just like you. Sunwoo takes a lot after me, but she will be just like you. I know it.”
“I hope she isn’t our last,” I grin, placing my arms around his neck. “Two more will make me very happy.”
“I’ll do anything to make you happy,” he runs his hands up and down my sides.
“That’s why you are my reason to keep going. You always think of me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend and husband.”
“You are too cute, honey,” he places a kiss to my nose. “I am just doing what I know is good and right. You deserve so much, and I am doing my best to give it to you.”
“You being here is enough for me,” I tenderly smile. “All those years ago, when I watch you jump in front of that sword for Sunwoo, I thought I had lost you forever. Just being able to hold you, kiss you, talk to you is a blessing. To have kids with you is something I never thought would happen. Life is so amazing, and you don’t need to do anything special for me.”
“But you are so special,” Hansung breaths out. “I stayed in Hwarang because of you, and I got the courage to stand up to my grandfather because, and for, you. Without you, I wouldn’t be here, and you know that. I wouldn’t have the perfect family with the best house. I wouldn’t be so damn happy.”
I open my mouth to respond, but a sharp pain shoots through my abdomen as my baby kicks hard, causing me to rest my head on Hansung’s shoulder as I groan.
“Ara, are you okay?” Hansung panics. “Is she coming? Do I need to go get a doctor? Will Ahro deliver like last time? What do I need to do?”
I lift my head off his shoulder as the pain passes. “Nothing is happening,” I chuckle. “All you need to do is clam down and kiss me.
He relaxes in mere seconds once he knows I’m fine. “Anything for you, honey,” he grins before placing his lips on mine, making me feel like our first kiss.
All my life I have been taunted because of who I am, and I have had to push to prove myself to almost everyone I come into contact with. I was called lucky for reasons I could not control. However, I have never had to prove myself to Hansung, and the word lucky has never been directed at me in a negative way when coming from his mouth. He loves me for all that I am, for all my flaws, and I will always have him to give me reasons to keep going. I’ll never love someone as much as I do Hansung. And I guess I can say that I got a little lucky with him.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
This makes my heart so happy. Hansung and Ara deserve to be happy, and I just love the fluff. If you would like to see Hansung and Ara do something, feel free to request! I would be happy to continue to write for these characters that I love so much. Thanks for reading! :D

Drabble: Hansung and Y/N
For @mymisst 🌺 I hope this is as good as you expected 💓
You could see Hansung from a distance in the court yard talking with Yeo Wool, showing him his best fighting stance; making a fool of himself. You couldn’t help but laugh at him as he continued. He soon spotted you, leaving Yeo Wool standing on his own looking dazed as he ran towards you. You stumbled back as he embraced you, both of you laughing with a grin from ear to ear.
“Y/N! Ah I’m so happy you’re here!” Hansung was completely overwhelmed to find you in the court yard when he assumed you’d have better people to visit like Sun Woo or Ban Ryu.
“Of course I’m here, I haven’t got any jobs to do at Hwarang House today.” You laughed, observing the huge smile that crept onto Hansung’s face the moment you arrived.
“We have to do something today! You never get any free time, I’m going to show you how great it is to be a Hwarang!” His enthusiasm was almost over powering, you couldn’t help but try to match his excitement.
“Teach me how to ride a horse.” You asked, the large smile on your face still remaining.
“Really?? Y/N this is so exciting!!” He jumped up and down on the spot, embracing you in a hug as he did so.
“Hansung calm down.” You giggled, holding his arm and bringing it down to his side to try and calm his excitedness.
“I’m sorry I’m sorry, it’s just we never get any chance to see each other apart from on days like today. These days are my favourite days.” He smiled, settling down.
“I’ll make it my job to get more days like today where we can go on adventures, okay?” You asked, meeting his eyes. You both smiled as Hansung nodding his head.
“Come on, follow me to the palace and we can get the horses and ride down to the nice forest, the one with the lake! Last one to the palace has to clean the stables when we get back!” He announced before running east towards the palace, leaving you flustered and hurriedly chasing after him.
It was Hansung who arrived at the stables first, not a surprise to either of you. You laughed, out of breath, as Hansung opened the gate to where his horse was. “Meet Dong Yul, my personal favourite horse!” He ran into the training ground, grabbing his horse by it’s reins and pulling it along with him. You followed after him, stroking the chalk white mane and soft chestnut fur.
“Dong Yul is such a beautiful horse” you spoke, staring into the horses beautiful eyes, “is he yours?” “Yes, I’m very proud to say he’s my horse, he’s one of the most beautiful here.” Hansung responded, walking back into the stable to get another horse. When he returned with another horse, he saw how enticed you were with Dong Yul, stroking his soft fur and brushing your hands over his head.
“You can have Dong Yul today, I’ll take this horse.” Hansung spoke as he walked in with a pale grey horse with a jet black mane.
“Really? Are you sure? Dong Yul is your horse, not mine.”
“I’m sure, don’t worry! You two seem to have a really strong bond.” Hansung reassured you and you smiled politely back, bowing your head.
“Careful now, just step up onto the saddle.” He held your arm tightly as you attempted to get up onto the horse for the third time.
“Y/N there’s nothing to worry about, I’ve got you!” But you fell down again. This time, Hansung couldn’t hold back his laughs.
“Hansung his isn’t funny you should be helping me!” You exclaimed, standing back up off the hard ground.
“Okay okay, try getting on it again.” He said, helping you brush a mixture of sand and mud off your hanbok.
You took a deep breath and stepped up onto the horse again, trying hard to keep your balance, and sat yourself down on the saddle.
“Y/N you did it!!” Hansung cheered, applauding you, the grin on his face growing even wider.
“Now stay there while I go and grab our picnic bag.” You held firmly onto the reins firmly as Hansung left the stables, only briefly to grab some food he managed to sneak from the Hwarang’s when they were eating.
Out of no where, the horse bucked wildly. You yelped and kept your grip on the reins tight as the horse began to run all round the stable at a speed faster than you thought it could go at. It began heading for the stable doors, the ones Hansung had left only minutes ago. You called out for Hansung once you were in the courtyard again, but you could only see other Hwarang’s looking startled as the Dong Yul wouldn’t stop running no matter how hard you tried to slow him down. Suddenly, the horse bucked for the second time, this time not giving you enough warning to grip the reins as you felt yourself falling back, and no one was there to stop you.
“Y/N!” You heard Hansung call out to you and before you knew what was happening you, you were in his arms.
You panted, out of breath from the panic and on the verge of tears. You wrapped your shaking arms around his neck and whimpered into his neck, still trying to calm yourself.
He slowly settled you on the small grassy area nearby along with himself.
“You’re okay now, you’re safe.” He rubbed his large hands across the back of your head, trying to reassure you that you were safe and out of harms way.
“I thought I was going to die.” You muttered shakily. “I’m here now Y/N, I’m not going to let anything happen to you ever again, I’m so sorry for putting you in danger, this is all my fault.” Hansung rambled, close to fretting.
“Don’t feel bad Hansung, please. I don’t blame you for anything, it was m-” before you could finish your sentence, you noticed his plump lips pressing against yours, moulding perfectly. Hansung placed his hands on your cheeks, catching the small tears that still fell from your glazed eyes. Euphoria filled both your bodies, a true connection being formed. Hansung pulled away breathlessly, hands remaining on your tear stained cheeks.
“I’m sorry I put you in danger Y/N, I love you.” He muttered, staring deep into your eyes. This was a different to the giggly Hansung you knew, this was lovestruck Hansung, but you knew every word he spoke was true.
“I love you too.” You wrapped your arms around his shoulders again and pulled him into a hug, smiling into his neck.
This was where you wanted to be; in Hansung’s arms.
END
Edit: Since y’all are here and this blew up can y’all request me things to write I’m mega bored. My requests are open, I’ll write pretty much anything for quite a lot of groups! Don’t be shy!

White Body of Black Shadow

Ban Ryu 2.2
Soo Yeon point of view.
I moved to get up but my head swam. I couldn’t see, everything had turned to stars and I couldn’t figure out which way was up or down, left or right.
I rested a hand on the mattress and tried to keep myself from swaying and falling sideways off the bed. I turned and rested my head on the bed with my arms cradling my head in foetal position but now the pain in my bandaged thigh burned and stung.
Where was Ban Ryu?

Announcement: New Series Fic on AFF!
Hey lovelies!
Sorry for using this blog to shamelessly promote, but I really need your help in something! As some of you may know, I am also an author on Asianfanfics that goes by the username mujikmato and pen name Jae. I write mostly series fics on there and now I’m really itching to start another.
And who does it star?
Tumblr media
yeah these idiots ^^^^^^
So I recently concluded the drama Hwarang, and even though I wish I can say that this was an amazing drama, I sadly cannot. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun! The cast was amazing and did the best with what they’ve got, the concept of it all was overall creative, and action sequences kept me on my toes all the time. I did enjoy some moments, and several episodes left me overwhelmed with emotions. This just goes to show that it had the potential of becoming an international favourite like MDBC and DOTS, but alas it had fallen victim to poor storytelling and trite love triangles. The ending had left plot holes by the dozens, and I left feeling strangely empty and incomplete despite the happy ending.
Like: WHY DID HANSUNG HAVE TO DIE?
I mean, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that Hansung's death is completely screwed over. First of all, it was completely avoidable and it did nothing to serve the plot at all. Sure, he did have a sobby, angsty af farewell, but come on, he was hardly mentioned at all during the last two episodes. Even without Hansung dying, Sunwoo would have continued facing all these struggles with his identity as a Sacred Bone and protecting Ahro, and Sammaekjong would still be fighting for his right to the crown. Suho, Banryu and Yeowool hardly seemed agonized by their friend's death literally one episode after he was killed. The only other character that would potentially serve to honour Hansung, his half-older brother Danse, was present in the last two episodes but barely spoke a word after magically joining the ranks of the True Bone.
Come on, Show. My poor baby boy didn't get snake venom to the hands and convulse to death just to get a measely wistful sigh from Yeowool and a half-assed reiterated "Remember that you're a Hwarang" speech from We Hwa-gong. Okay granted, we don't know exactly how much time has passed since episodes 18 and 19, so there should be a reason why the other Hwarang boys seemed to have moved on considerably from Hansung's death.
Hence, this story is created!
Taking place between the time of Hansung's funeral to when Sammaekjong first revealed his identity to the Royal Council, Hwarang: The End - Hansung's Journey will follow the youth's transition to the afterlife and how he had touched the lives of his family and fellow Hwarang. If you're a fan of Hwarang: The Beginning, I sincerely hope that you'll give this series a read and support it!
Here is the link!
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Hey guys! Jae here to tell you that I have an ongoing poll for readers of this story to vote for who they want featured in the story. As this is just a short spin-off series from a drama with a plethora of colourful, interesting characters, I cannot feature every single character who's ever came into contact with Hansung. Hence, I have came up with a poll for the readers to decide who would end up in the final cut.
TL;DR: I'm only looking at about 5-6 chapters, each dedicated to a relationship between Hansung and another character. The obvious ones have already been added to my roster: Sunwoo, Danse and Yeowool. That leaves about 2 or 3 more slots open for other characters. If you want a character to be featured in the story, be sure to vote for him/her in the poll below! If I missed out a character, be sure to drop a comment and let me know!

Lucky -- Jidwi Ending

Masterlist     Previous
Warnings: None
Word Count: 2503
It’s been a while since my reason to live left me. All the days blur together, and I have lost the ability to care. I don’t care about the fight for king. I don’t care about the fight for king. I don’t care about leaving Hwarang. I don’t care that Master Wihwa was in limbo with his job as leader of Hwarang. I don’t care what is going on with Ahro. I just don’t care. Even though I know I should.
I sniffle, curling further into myself.
I’ve returned home to mourn the loss of Hansung. I didn’t even attend the funeral that Master Wihwa held because I was such a wreck. I cried for many days, and just recently start to eat again.
The Hwarang called for me at first, talking about how strong I am, and how if I left, a hole would form among them. That I have proven myself to be just like them, so why would I throw it all away? I could hear Master Wihwa pleading with me, with Star Eyes, to return. But I couldn’t.
“It hurts too much,” I whimper.
The sounds of footsteps that seem to stop in front of my door, and then intense mumbling fill my ears. After all this time alone, with only my father or Yeseul bringing me food, I don’t want someone to come and visit me.
The door to my room slowly opens, and then moment later is quietly closes. My body tenses as I wait for whoever has entered to speak.
“Ara, it’s me,” Jidwi’s voice fills my ears. “I’m no longer Jidwi, but King Jinheung. Not that you probably care with what has happened to you. Even with all the power that I have, I can do nothing to help you feel better. I can never bring him back, and I wish I could.”
I open my mouth to answer, but I find that my throat is raw from my bawling.
“I’ve been trying to come see you for a while now that I have the throne, but with all the change, I haven’t much time.”
I groan, forcing myself to uncurl, and then push into a sitting position to look over at Jidwi, who looks to be right on the edge of crying. “His Majesty, I am sorry for how I look,” I choke out.
“No, Ara,” Jidwi stumbles over to me, falling to his knees in a bow. “I’m sorry, and I am the only one who should be sorry,” he has begun to cry. “If I would have had the courage to just say I was the King, to take the throne from my mother, then no one would have gone after Sunwoo, and Hansung would still be here. And you would be the ray of sunshine that you used to me.”
“His Majesty,” I place a hand on his shoulder. “Please, I don’t deserve to have you bow to me. All I am is a half-breed.”
He takes a deep breath before sitting up. “Please, don’t call me His Majesty.” He wipes the tears off his cheeks. “It may be proper, but I hate hearing it come from you.”
I pull my hand away, “Then what should I call you? Can I call you Jidwi? Even though that isn’t your real name.”
He softly smiles, “You’ll be the only one to call me it now, so it will be perfect. It sounds so lovely coming from you.”
I feel my lips curl up slightly as a tiny heat rises to my cheeks. “Jidwi, I don’t want you to feel like Hansung’s death was your fault. It was a freak accident led on by greed and the stupid bone rank.”
“That’s what I hope to change. I don’t want the Royal Council to have the power and focus on the bone rank that they did. We are all citizens of Silla, and that is how we should be treated.”
“A good change of pace,” I nod. “It will help get people to treat everyone the same. Then no one will worry about that ridiculous bone rank, and hopefully treat each other the same.”
“I can only hope so,” he sighs. “You have gone through so much because of your lack of knowledge on your background. The term lucky has followed and tormented you all your life. It should have never been like that. You should have never been treated like that.”
I shrug, “It shaped me into the girl I am today. The female Hwarang, able to take some mean words, and to find those who are my true friends. It was all for a reason.”
“It also led me to you,” he lowers his voice, reaching out to brush hair out of my face. “Ahro, she never felt the same way about me that I did for her. I was going for a girl that was not right for me. You, you were always right there, showing me what a friend is like, and was always so sweet to me. I should have seen that before now.”
“We can’t be together though, I’m no royalty.”
“You are though, and I want you to be my queen.”
“What are you talking about?” I furrow my eyebrows. “I can’t be your queen, Jidwi.”
“I went digging around the scrolls of the palace, looking for anything about you. If you were royalty, I would find it, and I did,” he grins. “You come from another land, outside of our three kingdoms, but your father, the man of this house, his is your actual father. Yeseul, she’s your father’s wife’s sister, like they tell you, and your mother’s best friend. Your mother came here scared and alone, having run away, and she met your father. It was love, and you were born, but she died, and so did your half-sibling and their mother. Your father told that part of the story to me when I showed up, and he kept you because the Queen would have killed you, and he made up whatever story he could to protect you because he loves you so much. And now, I want to protect you like he has. I will not marry my sister, but I will marry you.”
“So, that’s why I’m different,” I blink away tears. “What about my eyes?”
He brings a hand up to cup one side of my face. “Eyes that have nothing on the night sky because they are so beautiful. Those eyes? Those are, and have always been, a gift from the one who made you.”
“You are such a smooth talker,” I poke his stomach. “Becoming king didn’t change you, and I am happy about that.”
“Who would have thought that calling you a princess all that time in Hwarang would be true?”
“I got lucky, I guess,” I let out a small laugh.
“Now, what do you say about coming back with me to the palace and working to become Queen?”
********
“Where is he?” I pout, setting the book I just finished on my lap and look at the door to the bedroom hoping Jidwi will walk in.
It’s been almost two years since I agreed to come back to the palace with Jidwi and become the Queen of Silla. Within months of being at the palace, we were married, and ever since I have been learning the ways of being Queen. I refuse to be a doll, though, and I like to train with Jidwi or the Hwarang when I can, as well as go on horse rides with Jidwi.
About a year ago, Jidwi and I decided that is was time to try for a child, and even with how busy he is as King, he found time to be with me. After a few months of no success, I was starting to get worried, but I trusted it would all work out in the end.
“We’ll just go find him,” I nod, standing up from my chair and setting my book on the seat. Then I head out of our room and head to the one place that he usually is at the middle of the day.
As I walk through the halls, I pass multiple servants and guards, all giving me genuine smiles and polite bows. Unlike the Queen before me, my heart is warm, and I am nice to every single person I interact with.
“Queen Ara,” the girl standing outside the King’s private quarters that is sued for important meetings bows to me.
“Hello dear,” I tenderly smile. “Is my husband in there by chance?”
“He is. Would you like to see him?”
         “I would, very much.”
She turns to face the door, “His Majesty, someone is here to see you!”
         “Send them in!” Jidwi responds.
“Thank you,” I give a tiny bow to the girl as she opens the door. Then I step into the room and the door slides close behind me.
Jidwi is in his seat looking like the elegant King he has always been. His gaze is on something out the window, and I am sure there is a lot on his mind. Hopefully I can clear his mind for a few moments.
I clear my throat as I step closer, a smile slowly forming on my lips.
“Not even going to announce who you are,” Jidwi’s voice comes out hard, and a glare is on his face. It all changes when he looks at me. His face relaxes, and a loving smile replaces his frown. “Baby, what brings you here?”
“I was waiting for you to come see me, but it seems you forgot,” I giggle. “Has today been busy, His Majesty?” I tease.
“Come over here,” he smirks, beckoning me with his index finger.
I walk up to him, squealing in delight when he pulls me onto his lap.
“A King is always busy, but I should never neglect my Queen.” He presses kisses to my cheek and jaw. “I’m glad you came, Ara. With you here, my next meeting won’t be that bad.”
“Oh, you’re just going to hold me here against my will?” I poke his side.
“You don’t want to leave, and you know it.”
“Yeah, I don’t,” I rest my head on his shoulder. “I love you, Jidwi.”
He pulls me closer as he cradles me like a baby. “I love you, Ara.”
We sit in comfortable silence, enjoying each other’s presence. His heartbeat calms me as I try to prepare myself for the news I came here to tell him.
“As much as I love just holding you, I know you don’t come here unless you have something to tell me,” Jidwi chuckles. “Like all those book endings, or that dog that wandered in. So what do you have to tell me, beautiful?”
“Well, I’ve been trying to figure out how I want to say if for a few days now,” I nibble on my bottom lip.
“If someone disrespected you in any way, I will deal with them.”
“No, that hasn’t happened since I first got here all that time ago.”
“Don’t be afraid to tell me anything, baby,” he runs a hand up and down my back. “I love you, and nothing is going to change that.” He presses a quick kiss to my lips.
“I know,” I take a deep breath. “We’ve been trying for a child for a while now, with nothing to show for it. I started to think it was me, and maybe someone would have to come in to bear a child for us.”
“I would never do that,” he gives me a small squeeze.
“I know,” I press a kiss to his jaw. “Now we haven’t been able to try because my stomach has been upset a lot, and I don’t think it’s because I have been worrying.”
“I had all the food checked the moment you started feeling ill, but since it is only you, I hope you aren’t sick with something. If anyone were harming you, I would go on a rampage. You mean the world to me, and I can’t be without you. You make me better.”
“That’s why I had Ahro come over to check on me,” I place a hand on his stomach.
         “Ahro came, huh?”
“She did, and she did a lot of tests to rule out all kinds of sicknesses. Then I told her about us trying, and it all made sense.”
“What do you mean? You’re okay, right?”
“I’m fine. We’re both fine,” I tenderly smile, looking into Jidwi’s eyes.
         “Both?” His eyebrows furrow.
“I’m pregnant, Jidwi,” I softly say.
His eyes widen as a huge smile takes over his face. “Are you serious?”
“Of course. Ahro heard the heartbeat, and I am starting to show, which is why I have been wearing bigger dresses. I am pregnant,” I giggle. “It feels so good to say out loud.”
“This is amazing,” Jidwi presses a passionate kiss to my lips. Then he leans down to press many kisses to my belly. “Hello little baby, it’s me, your dad. I can’t wait to hold you and love you like I was never really loved. And you will have the best mother in the whole world.”
I giggle, “You are so goofy.”
He sits back up, rubbing my belly as he does so. “I think I am going to cancel any other meetings I have today so I can spend time with me lovely, Queen.” He puts a hand under my knees, and the other behind my back before he stands up with me in his arms. “This calls for a bit of a celebration.” He walks us out of the room, shocking the girl out in the hall.
         “His Majesty,” the girl bows.
“I’m done for the day, so tell anyone that I am with my pregnant wife,” he widely grins.
“Queen Ara,” she gasps, looking up at me.
Jidwi turns, leading us somewhere. “My wife is pregnant; I can’t believe this. After all this time trying, it finally happened. You needed to rest as much as possible, and eat whatever you want, and read all the books, and I need to kiss and love you more, and-”
“Jidwi,” I chuckle, causing him to stop in the middle of the hallway. “Please, just shut up and kiss me.”
“If the Queen commands it, I will do it,” he smirks, connecting our lips in a love-filled kiss.
All my life I have gone through people taunting me because of who I am. I have always been put down for being lucky, but I have always pushed to prove myself to people. Now, I don’t have to prove anything to Jidwi. He’ll always love me no matter what. Even if it takes us a while to conceive a child, or if I don’t act like a proper Queen. Jidwi doesn’t care, and he will always love me. And I guess I can say that I got a little lucky with him.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I love Jidwi, and I just love this ending that he gets with Ara. I love writing fluff and having my characters happy. If you want to see more Jidwi and Ara, feel free to request them doing something! I am happy to keep writing for these characters, as I love these characters. Thanks for reading! :D

“This is silly.”
Taehyung playfully tried to move Hansung’s hands as the other resisted. The two of them were laughing at four o’clock in the morning and it was a miracle that no one came by to complain about their noises they were making. “Hansung-ah,” Taehyung tried to speak clearly but only burst into more laughter before he could continue. “We’re alone. Just do it!”
It was those rare moments between shoots where the two of them would meet alone in Taehyung’s shared dorm and spend time together. With summer going on and everyone else returning home while the other member remained for his shoot, he had the whole place to himself and Hansung frequently visited him to do whatever they wanted. Sometimes they traveled to eat at different stores or shop for clothes no one in Silla have ever heard of before. (”Is Gucci some kind of strange delicacy, Taehyungie-hyung?”), but there were also nights were they simply confined themselves into the dorms. This was one of those nights, and the older one was begging for the other to do something.
At first, Hansung tried to come up with whatever excuse he can to not do it, things like “I don’t remember” and “I’m too embarrassed to do it” echoed throughout the room, and only the motionless Ryan and Brown dolls that lay on the other of the two beds seemed to hear them. “Come on,” Taehyung whined, “you can do it fast if you want to. In fact, the best way to do this move is to do it as fast as possible. It will be done in a milisecond if you try!”
Hansung was embarrassed  to do so, but he was persuaded by his older friend’s cuteness at the moment. The younger gave in, but hesitantly. “If I do it, will you go to bed so that you can have more energy for the shoot tomorrow?” He put his hands on his hips, and Taehyung playfully mirrored him in response. That was right... He had a scene to do tomorrow and his actor hyungs had reprimanded him when he said he didn’t sleep much the night before. It felt rather weird that Hansung, of all people, was acting like a big brother to him when the younger of the two was often babied instead by the other. He’s growing up, Taehyung thought. It felt like a similar ache he and the other BTS members felt when they see their own maknae growing up as well. Hansung’s orders still didn’t sound mature and it made the two of them laugh when he tried to be serious. The older one shook his head to get back to what he was trying to get the other to do at first. “Deal,” he finally gave in. “Just do it now before I die of laughter!”
Swiftly, Hansung bent his right arm over his face and stretched his left arm outwards to his left side. It was sudden and quick, but the moonlight caught it all and Taehyung rolled onto his bed laughing and clapping like a sea lion. Hansung covered his face in embarrassment but also laughed along too before plopping himself on the same bed. “Never again,” he giggled as Taehyung also did the same thing Hansung did a few moments ago. “I can’t believe you guys like doing this so much.”
“The dab is the best dance move ever created in the 2st century, my friend. And you finally did it. Share that move to your friends in Silla. I bet it will be a hit in Okta and get you all the ladies you want. ”
Hansung rolled his eyes but laughed at Taehyung’s response. The two struggled to catch their breaths before the older spoke again. The moonlight continued to shine on them as the laughter died down and the remaining minutes of the night became peaceful.
“Hey, you know a friend of Jungkook and mine dabs every morning when he wakes up?”
“No way. He’s crazy.”
AN: Basically the story of Hansung dabbing for the first time, because I’m having a hard time with the actual story and this idea came up. He eventually becomes addicted to dabbing after seeing the other maknae line doing it and realizing he’s getting a lot of pussy when he did it at Okta later on. I’ll post the link to the final story when it’s done, but you’re welcome to send any ideas that can help me write it better. Also, I have a tag for the this story and the headcannons that go alone with it using #timetravel so check it out!
I kind of put in some subtle references in there, and a reference to the Dab King himself. (Does he still dab every morning when he wakes up?)

(Chapter 1) Hwarang, the Secret Life
A series about you trying to get in as a Hwarang by dressing as a man and your best friend Ah Ro helping you achieve your goal. But what will happen once you fall in love with one of the other Hwarangs?
“Y/N! Y/N come here right now!” You heard Ah Ro call from a short distance. You spun around to face your best friend, greeted by her wife grin as she took a few steps towards you and held your arm.
“I have the best idea of how you can become a Hwarang!”
It had always been your dream to be a Hwarang; becoming a hero, being remembered, making new friends, it seemed unbelievably appealing to you, except that you were female. You’d thought of every way under the sun to get into Hwarang house without them noticing you were female but there were no logical thoughts that didn’t result in death or banishment.
“We can dress you as a man! Then you’ll sign up and become a Hwarang, problem solved!” Ah Ro cheered, sure that she had come up with the perfect solution.
“You don’t think I’ve already tried that?” You questioned, “That was my first thought.”
“I know, I know but you’ll have to trust me! We can bandage you up so you look less feminine, dress you in male clothing, it’s perfect! Please believe me, I know this can work!”
You wanted to trust her, you really did yet her schemes never seemed to work and you weren’t sure if you were ready to risk your life for this. The thought of bandaging up your breasts and putting loose clothing over it did sound convincing, it did sound like it would work.
“Try it first okay? Steal some clothes from your brother and bring them over later. I don’t want to do this without knowing it’s definitely going to work.”
“Thank you thank you thank you!” Ah Ro hugged you tightly, running off almost immediately to go back to her house and get the supplies needed. You couldn’t help but feel the butterflies circling in your stomach as the tingling excitement began to dawn on you. The fact that you might actually make it as a Hwarang was absolutely astonishing, and you couldn’t wait.
Two hours later and Ah Ro turned up at your house, clearly trying her best to hide her excitement, she was so happy for you finally maybe being able to peruse your dream, you were so lucky to have her as a best friend. She was clutching a large satchel, green material lightly slipping out of the side.
“Come on hurry up! The commandant put up a notice in the village saying the final time to apply for to become a Hwarang is this evening and you absolutely have to go to it!”
“This evening? I can’t, it’s too soon!” You protested, inviting her in just as the cold began to set in it the contrasting sunlight.
“Yes you can! When have you ever quit anything, hey? You’ve never wanted anything more in your life, are you really going to give up now? Take these, to get changed and then we’ll give you a few final touches ready for the Queen.” She shoved a mix of white and green material with bandages and a purple robe into your hands as she pushed you into the nearest room, insisting you to get changed.
You came out of the room after what felt like hours of struggling to put everything on and Ah Ro stared at you in surprise.
“Y/N you really look like a Hwarang!” She cheered, grinning from ear to ear. She seemed eager to leave straight away so that you had no chance of missing the last chance to apply.
“I don’t know. Even if I do get in, what will I do about every day things like showering and going to the bathroom? There’s no way I’d be able to keep my identity secret when I’m surrounding by males!”
“Y/N calm down! You can just shower later than everyone else, or keep your back turned I don’t know. Don’t let minor things ruin what you’ve been wanting to do for years. We’ll figure something out, and if you’re ever unsure about anything just remember I work there, you can always come find me for help. Okay?” She reassured you and you had to admit that you felt a little more confident. It was always worth a go, right?

Amidst all the fuss about Hansung and Yeowool being brothers (edit: when they're actually not lol pls) I actually did a thing (or a drabble) for YeoSung lmao. It’s my first time posting my writings, so please leave some criticism but pls be soft about it im a marshmallow. Here we go!! __________________________________________
“I’m planning to get out of the Hwarang House tonight,” Hansung tells Yeowool while resting on a bench after a whole round of sword fighting.
“What. Why?” Yeowool asked, genuinely concerned over the younger’s mental health. The last time he (and his roommates) went for a nightly escapade, it didn’t really end well. So what did this kid had in mind to make him want to get out of the Hwarang House without any permission?
“Someone told me a wandering circus is about to visit Seorabol, don’t you want to come with?“ Hansung, the ever curious pup, was thoroughly engaged with the idea of seeing a great show. Yeowool noticed that he was practically glowing with curiosity.
"This is by far the stupidest plan you’ve ever had,” Yeowool turned to a wide-eyed, smiling Hansung whose smile was already faltering after hearing what was practically a rejection from Yeowool. Yeowool sighed. “Of course I’m in,” He looked away quickly after seeing Hansung’s brighter-than-the-damn-sun grin, because if he stared long enough he might just get blinded by the love he already has for the younger.
Gods, when did he become so poetic?
‘This is all Hansung’s fault,’ He thought as he chanced a look at Hansung who was still smiling happily at Yeowool and rambling on and on about how he was so excited for the show tonight.
He looked away.
Again.
'I’m so dead,’ He thought. __________________________________________ A/N: lmao idek if this actually a drabble ((this is over 250+ words????? What???)) THANK YOU FOR READINGGGGG

Invisible Girls
G | wc: 3172 | Ah Ro & Soo Yeon | 1/?
They are the capital’s invisible girls. Hiding in plain sight, their silk skirts wearing at the knees in their daily sojourns to the marketplace, collecting dirt in the pleats, mud on the hems. Forgotten by their parents for brothers who are lost. Afterthoughts at the evening meal, an extra mouth to feed, an extra body to clothe. They learn to make it their normal; there's no choice, when they’d come squalling into the world, pre-labelled as the fabled, prickled cacti from the mid-world desert.
No maintenance required; will grow anyway.
